Homemade Pasta

You can Use this recipe with any pasta recipe you would like!

Here is a TikTok of me making the pasta: https://vm.tiktok.com/ZMdG9hL73/

Homemade Pasta

Total Time: 1 hour | Chill Time: 30 minutes

Ingredients:

- 2 1/2 c. AP flour

- 4 eggs

- 1 TBSP. Olive oil

- pinch of salt

Directions:

1. On a clean surface, make a well out of the AP flour. In the center of the well, add your eggs, olive oil, and salt. Use a fork to whisk the wet ingredient while slowly whisking in the flour. You will eventually get a ball of dough. Knead it until very smooth. This will take about 8-10 minutes. Cover in cling film, and chill in the fridge for 30 minutes.

2. Take your dough out of the fridge. On a floured surface, divide the dough into 8 pieces. If you have a pasta roller, use that, but if not, you can use a rolling pin. Roll out your dough, and cut into fettuccine sized pieces.

3. If you are using a pasta machine, start on the thickest setting. Roll out the dough. Fold it in half, and roll it out again. Then turn the setting a bit thinner. Roll, fold, and roll. Continue this until your dough is as thin as you would like.

4. In a large pot of boiling water, boil your pasta. This will take no more than a minute. The pasta will float when done. Coat in oil or butter so the noodles don’t stick, and enjoy!
