Sugar Cookie Cake

This is a wonderful recipe to use to spice things up this holiday season!



Sugar Cookie Cake

Total Time: 2 hrs | Bake Time: 45 mins. Ingredients:

For the cake:

- 1 stick salted butter, softened

- 1 c. Granulated sugar

- 1 egg

- 1 tsp. Almond extract

- 1 tsp. pure vanilla extract

- 1/2 c. Milk

- 1 tsp. Baking powder

- 1/4 tsp. Baking soda

- 1 1/3 c. AP Flour

- 4 tsp. Christmas sprinkles

For the glaze:

- 1/2 c. Powdered sugar

- 1-2 TBSPS. milk

- Christmas sprinkles


Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a loaf pan thoroughly. Cream together butter and sugar. Add in your egg and extracts. Mix in milk.

2. Combine AP flour, baking powder, and baking soda. Fold into your wet ingredients. Fold in Christmas sprinkles. Pour into loaf pan and bake for 45 minutes.

3. Let the cake cool for 1 hour. Meanwhile, make the glaze by whisking together the milk and powdered sugar. Add more or less milk depending on consistency of your glaze.

4. Evenly pour your glaze over your cake, top with some more sprinkles, and enjoy!
