Crumbl Cookies Copycat Lemon Glaze Cookie

Recently Crumbl Cookies has risen in popularity, so I decided to make a really easy copycat recipe. Enjoy!

Crumbl Copycat Lemon Glaze Cookie

Total Time: 1 hour | Bake Time: 10 minutes

Ingredients:

For the cookie:

- 1 package of sugar cookie mix

- 1 egg

- 1 stick butter, softened and an additional 2 TBSP. Melted butter, softened

For the glaze

- 1 c. Powdered sugar

- 1 1/2 TBSP. Milk

- 1-3 TBSP. Lemon juice

- 1/2 tsp. Lemon zest

Directions:

1. Mix together the cookie mix, softened butter, melted butter, and the egg. Cover in cling film, and chill in your fridge for 30 minutes.

2. Preheat oven to 350° convection bake. On a flour surface, roll out your dough to 1/2 an inch thick. Use a round cookie cutter 3.5” in diameter. Bake the cookies for 5 minutes, then flip the pan around. Bake them for 5 more minutes. While the cookies cool, make the icing.

3. Whisk together the powdered sugar, milk, lemon juice, and lemon zest. Add more or less lemon juice depending on desired consistency. When the cookies are completely cooled, coat the tops of the with the icing. Optional: top with a lemon slice for garnish.
