Chunky Monkey Cookies

These are made with normal cookies dough, but bananas, chocolate, and walnuts were added to the mix.



Chunky Monkey Cookies


Ingredients:

- 1 c. Bread flour

- 1 c. AP flour

- 1 tsp. Baking soda

- 1 c. Salted butter, softened

- 3/4 c. Granulated sugar

- 1/2 c. Brown sugar

- 2 tsp. Pure vanilla extract

- 1 egg

- 1 egg yolk

- 3 ripe bananas

- 1 7oz. bar of milk chocolate

- 1/2 c. Chocolate chips

- 3/4 c. Walnuts


Directions

1. Cream butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until you can’t feel any grains of sugar.


2. While creaming, sift bread flour, AP flour, and baking soda. Mash your bananas. Chop up your chocolate bar into small pieces.


3. To the butter and sugar mix, add egg, yolk, the bananas, and vanilla.


4. Slowly fold in dry ingredients to wet. When there is a little flour let on the sides, stop and add the chocolate chips, chopped chocolate bar, and the walnuts. This will combine all the flour.


5. Bake at 320°F convection bake 12-14

minutes depending on your preference of softness. When they first come out of the oven, they will be very soft! They will firm up.


6. Cool on pan 3 minutes, then cool on a cooling rack until completely cool. Enjoy!
